The Event Security Drone Pilot will be responsible for managing all event security staff to provide a safe environment at the Frost Bank Center, Toyota Field, and grounds on event and non-event days; on days designated to operate the drone, will do so in a safe manner. The Event Security Drone Pilot will report directly to the Security Manager on Duty and will oversee all aspects of the event security operation during event and non-event days, along with the drone program. When operating the drone, must be in compliance with the Federal Aviation Administrations’ Small Unmanned Aircraft (UAS) Part 107. Drone Pilot will not be responsible for providing any of their own equipment, all required equipment will be supplied by SS&E.
What You’ll Do:
Respond to emergencies and non-emergencies calls, and incidents are properly reported and documented.
Act as a role model within and outside of the Frost Bank Center and Toyota Field.
Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management, ability to prioritize workload.
Strong communication skills to convey plan information and other types of data effectively.
Process information and identify solutions to issues with staff, patrons and drone.
Ability to work independently and in teams while maintaining rigorous attention to detail is .
Must be able to utilize a variety of computer applications including MS Office, and other on-line cloud storage and data transfer tools.
Perform other duties as assigned by Security Management.
